Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
- 🍗 Chicken/Mutton/Vegetables – 500g
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 2-3, slit
- 🌿 Mint & Coriander Leaves – a handful
- 🥄 Biryani Masala – 2 tbsp
- 🍶 Ghee/Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onions in ghee/oil until golden brown.
- 🥘 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute, then add chicken/mutton/vegetables.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes, green chilies, biryani masala, salt, and cook until the meat/vegetables are partially cooked.
- 🍚 Layer the rice and meat/vegetables in a pot, garnish with mint & coriander leaves.
- 💧 Add water (as needed), cover, and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and the flavors are infused.
