Ingredients

  • 🎃 Kabocha Squash – 1 medium, halved and seeded
  • 🫒 Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • 🍁 Maple Syrup – 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • 🍂 Sage – 2 sprigs, fresh (optional)
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Black Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • 🔪 Cut the kabocha squash into wedges.
  • 🥣 Toss with olive oil, maple syrup (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • 🌿 Arrange on a baking sheet with sage sprigs (if using).
  • ⏲️ Roast for 40-45 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
