Ingredients
- 🍝 Penne pasta – 8 oz
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, thinly sliced
- 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1/2 tsp
- 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 💧 Cook penne pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- 🧄 While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until garlic is golden but not burnt.
- 🍝 Drain pasta, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- 🥘 Add pasta to the pan with garlic oil. Toss to coat, adding pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
- 🌿 Stir in parsley, season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
