Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – 2 cups, soaked
- ⚪ Urad Dal – ½ cup, soaked
- 🌾 Poha (Flattened rice) – ½ cup for fluffiness
- 🧈 Butter – generous amounts for roasting
- 🥔 Potatoes – 3 medium, boiled and mashed
- 🥥 Coconut – ½ cup, freshly grated for chutney
Instructions
- 🥣 Grind soaked rice, dal, and poha into a smooth batter and ferment overnight.
- 🔥 Heat a flat tawa and pour a thick ladle of batter without spreading it too thin.
- 🧈 Add a large dollop of butter on top and cover with a lid to steam-cook.
- 🥘 Place a spoonful of spiced potato masala in the center once the base is golden.
- ✨ Fold the soft, porous dosa and serve hot with fresh coconut chutney.
