Ingredients
- 🥩 Mutton chops – 8 pieces
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, finely chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Garam masala – 1 tsp
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🍶 Yogurt – 2 tbsp
- 🌱 Fresh coriander – for garnish
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Cooking oil – as needed
Instructions
- 🥣 Marinate mutton chops with ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, yogurt, lemon juice and salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🥘 Add the marinated mutton chops and cook on medium heat until browned on all sides.
- 💧 Add a little water, cover, and simmer until the mutton is tender and the gravy thickens.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or naan.
