Ingredients
- 🥔 Potato – boiled and mashed
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🫑 Green bell pepper – finely chopped
- 🍞 Burger buns – 2
- 🌿 Cilantro – chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped (optional)
- 🫘 Chickpea flour (besan) – for binding
- 🧂 Spices – turmeric, chili powder, garam masala
- 🧈 Butter/Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥔 Mix mashed potatoes with onions, bell pepper, cilantro, green chilies (if using), besan, and spices.
- 🤏 Shape the mixture into small patties (tikkis).
- 🔥 Heat butter or oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
- 🍞 Lightly toast the burger buns.
- ✨ Assemble the Bun Tikki: Place the tikki inside the bun and add chutney or other desired toppings. Serve hot!
