Ingredients

  • 1 kg mutton 🐏
  • 2 large onions 🧅
  • 4 tomatoes 🍅
  • 2 green chillies 🌶️
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder 🧂
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 🌶️
  • 1 tsp coriander powder 🌿
  • 1 tsp cumin powder 🌿
  • 1 tsp garam masala 🧂
  • Salt to taste 🧂
  • 2 tbsp oil 🍾
  • Ginger-garlic paste 🧄
  • Coriander leaves for garnish 🌿

Instructions

  • Clean and cut the mutton into pieces 🔪.
  • Marinate the mutton with turmeric powder and salt for 15 minutes ⏳.
  • Chop onions and tomatoes 🧅🍅.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and sauté until golden brown 🍳.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, sauté for a minute 🌶️.
  • Add marinated mutton, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder 🌶️🌿.
  • Stir well and cook for 5 minutes 🔥.
  • Add tomatoes and garam masala, mix well 🍅.
  • Close the pressure cooker and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the mutton is tender 🕒.
  • Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and garnish with coriander leaves 🌿.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti 🍚🫓.
