Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton 🐏
- 2 large onions 🧅
- 4 tomatoes 🍅
- 2 green chillies 🌶️
- 1 tsp turmeric powder 🧂
- 1 tsp red chilli powder 🌶️
- 1 tsp coriander powder 🌿
- 1 tsp cumin powder 🌿
- 1 tsp garam masala 🧂
- Salt to taste 🧂
- 2 tbsp oil 🍾
- Ginger-garlic paste 🧄
- Coriander leaves for garnish 🌿
Instructions
- Clean and cut the mutton into pieces 🔪.
- Marinate the mutton with turmeric powder and salt for 15 minutes ⏳.
- Chop onions and tomatoes 🧅🍅.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and sauté until golden brown 🍳.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, sauté for a minute 🌶️.
- Add marinated mutton, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder 🌶️🌿.
- Stir well and cook for 5 minutes 🔥.
- Add tomatoes and garam masala, mix well 🍅.
- Close the pressure cooker and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the mutton is tender 🕒.
- Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and garnish with coriander leaves 🌿.
- Serve hot with rice or roti 🍚🫓.
