Ingredients

  • 🌾 Millet flour – 1 cup
  • 🍚 Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • 🫘 Urad dal flour – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • 🌱 Asafoetida – a pinch
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🛢️ Oil – for deep frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Combine millet flour, rice flour, urad dal flour, chili powder, asafoetida, and salt in a bowl.
  • 💧 Gradually add water to form a soft, pliable dough.
  • ⚙️ Fit the murukku maker with a suitable disc.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan.
  • 🥨 Press out murukkus directly into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain excess oil. Enjoy!😋
