Ingredients
- 🌾 Millet flour – 1 cup
- 🍚 Rice flour – 1/2 cup
- 🫘 Urad dal flour – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🌱 Asafoetida – a pinch
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Oil – for deep frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine millet flour, rice flour, urad dal flour, chili powder, asafoetida, and salt in a bowl.
- 💧 Gradually add water to form a soft, pliable dough.
- ⚙️ Fit the murukku maker with a suitable disc.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan.
- 🥨 Press out murukkus directly into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain excess oil. Enjoy!😋
