Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice – 3 cups
  • 🐑 Lamb – 2 lbs, cut into pieces
  • 🥛 Jameed – 1 kg, rehydrated
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🌰 Almonds – ½ cup, blanched and toasted
  • 🌿 Parsley – for garnish
  • 🍞 Shrak Bread - for serving

Instructions

  • 🐑 Boil lamb in water until tender.
  • 🥛 In a separate pot, simmer rehydrated jameed until smooth.
  • 🍚 Cook rice separately until fluffy.
  • 🥘 Combine the cooked lamb and jameed sauce.
  • 🍽️ Serve rice on a large platter, top with lamb and sauce, garnish with almonds and parsley, and serve with Shrak bread.
