Ingredients

  • 🍌 Ripe bananas – 2 medium
  • 🍚 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • 🥄 Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • 🌱 Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – a pinch
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🛢️ Oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🍌 Mash bananas well in a large bowl.
  • 🥣 Add flour, sugar, cumin seeds, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix well and add water gradually to form a soft dough.
  • ⏳ Let the dough rest for at least 1 hour.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a small, thick circle.
  • 🍳 Gently slide the buns into the hot oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot!
