Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
- 🍬 Sugar – ¾ cup
- 🥚 Eggs – 4 large yolks
- 🌿 Dried lavender flowers – 2 tsp
- 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup
Instructions
- 🥛 Heat milk and lavender in a saucepan; do not boil.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 🌡️ Temper eggs with warm milk mixture, then return to saucepan and cook until thickened.
- 🧊 Stir in heavy cream and chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker.
- ❄️ Freeze for several hours before serving.
