Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
  • 🍬 Sugar – ¾ cup
  • 🥚 Eggs – 4 large yolks
  • 🌿 Dried lavender flowers – 2 tsp
  • 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup

Instructions

  • 🥛 Heat milk and lavender in a saucepan; do not boil.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 🌡️ Temper eggs with warm milk mixture, then return to saucepan and cook until thickened.
  • 🧊 Stir in heavy cream and chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker.
  • ❄️ Freeze for several hours before serving.
