Ingredients

  • 🐔 Chicken pieces – 1 lb
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup
  • 🥕 Carrot – 1, sliced
  • 🍵 Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Gochujang (Korean chili paste) – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • 🌿 Green onions – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔥 In a pot, sauté chicken pieces until lightly browned.
  • 🧅 Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.
  • 💧 Add water or chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • 🍚 Stir in rice, carrots, and soy sauce. Add gochujang if desired.
  • 🍲 Simmer until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender. Garnish with green onions before serving.
