Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken pieces – 1 lb
- 🧅 Onion – 1 chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup
- 🥕 Carrot – 1, sliced
- 🍵 Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Gochujang (Korean chili paste) – 1 tbsp (optional)
- 🌿 Green onions – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 In a pot, sauté chicken pieces until lightly browned.
- 🧅 Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.
- 💧 Add water or chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- 🍚 Stir in rice, carrots, and soy sauce. Add gochujang if desired.
- 🍲 Simmer until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender. Garnish with green onions before serving.
