Ingredients

  • 🍚 Semolina (Sooji) – 1 cup
  • 🧈 Ghee – 1/2 cup
  • 💧 Water – 2 cups
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1 cup
  • 🧡 Saffron strands – a pinch
  • 🌰 Cashews – 1/4 cup
  • 🍇 Raisins – 1/4 cup
  • 💚 Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  • 💛 Food Coloring (optional) – a pinch

Instructions

  • 🔥 Roast semolina in ghee until golden brown and fragrant. Keep aside.
  • 💧 Boil water with saffron strands and food coloring (if using).
  • 🥣 Add roasted semolina to the boiling water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • 🍬 Stir in sugar and cardamom powder. Cook until the mixture thickens and ghee separates.
  • 🌰 Garnish with roasted cashews and raisins. Serve Kesari Bath hot or warm. ✨
