Jalebi with Rabri

Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – for rabri
  • 🍚 Sugar – for sweetness
  • 💧 Water – for jalebi batter
  • 🌾 Maida (All-purpose flour) – for jalebi
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – few drops
  • 🧡 Saffron strands – for rabri
  • 🟢 Cardamom powder – a pinch

Instructions

  • 🥣 Prepare jalebi batter and let it ferment.
  • 🔥 Heat ghee in a flat pan for frying.
  • 🌀 Shape jalebis directly into the hot ghee and fry until golden.
  • 🍯 Soak fried jalebis in warm sugar syrup.
  • 🥛 Prepare rabri by simmering milk until it thickens, adding sugar, cardamom and saffron. Serve jalebi with rabri.
