Ingredients

  • 🥩 Entrecôte steak – 2 (8oz each)
  • 🥔 Potatoes – for fries
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
  • 🌿 Thyme – sprigs (optional)
  • 🧄 Garlic – 1 clove (optional)
  • 🫒 Olive oil – or other cooking oil

Instructions

  • 🥔 Prepare the fries: Cut potatoes into fries and fry until golden and crispy. Season with salt.
  • 🥩 Prepare the steak: Season the entrecôte with salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic (optional).
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan. Sear the steak on high heat for a few minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • ⏱️ Reduce heat and cook to desired doneness. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  • 🍽️ Serve the sliced entrecôte with the fries.
