Ingredients
- 🥩 Entrecôte steak – 2 (8oz each)
- 🥔 Potatoes – for fries
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
- 🌿 Thyme – sprigs (optional)
- 🧄 Garlic – 1 clove (optional)
- 🫒 Olive oil – or other cooking oil
Instructions
- 🥔 Prepare the fries: Cut potatoes into fries and fry until golden and crispy. Season with salt.
- 🥩 Prepare the steak: Season the entrecôte with salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic (optional).
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan. Sear the steak on high heat for a few minutes per side for medium-rare.
- ⏱️ Reduce heat and cook to desired doneness. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- 🍽️ Serve the sliced entrecôte with the fries.
