Ingredients

  • 🥔 Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes – peeled and cubed
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🧈 Unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons
  • 🥛 Heavy cream – 1/2 cup, warmed
  • 🧂 Salt and black pepper – to taste
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥔 Boil peeled potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • 🧄 Sauté the minced garlic in butter over low heat until fragrant but not browned.
  • 🥣 Drain potatoes thoroughly and return them to the warm pot to remove excess moisture.
  • 🥛 Mash potatoes while gradually adding the garlic butter and warm cream until smooth.
