Ingredients
- 🌽 Sweet corn kernels – 2 cups, boiled and crushed
- 🥔 Boiled potatoes – 2 medium, mashed
- 🍞 Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup for binding
- 🌶️ Green chili – 1, finely chopped
- 🌿 Cilantro – 2 tbsp, chopped
- 🧂 Salt and black pepper – to taste
- 🍳 Oil – for shallow frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Mix the crushed corn, mashed potatoes, green chilies, cilantro, and spices in a large bowl.
- 🍞 Add bread crumbs to the mixture until it is firm enough to shape into small patties or cylinders.
- 🤲 Shape the mixture into small 'cornlettes' using your palms.
- 🍳 Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cornlettes over medium heat until they are golden brown on all sides.
- ✨ Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup for a crispy snack.
