Ingredients
- 🍞 Bread flour – 2 cups
- 🥛 Warm milk – 1/2 cup
- 🧈 Unsalted butter – 1/4 cup softened
- 🥚 Egg – 1 large
- ☕ Instant coffee powder – 2 tsp
- 🍦 Custard filling – 1/2 cup prepared
Instructions
- 🥣 Knead flour, milk, egg, and a portion of butter into a soft dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
- 🥧 Divide dough into balls, flatten slightly, add a spoonful of custard in the center, and seal tightly.
- ☕ Whisk coffee powder, sugar, and remaining butter into a smooth paste and pipe it in swirls over the dough balls.
- ⏲️ Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until the coffee topping forms a crispy crust.
- ✨ Cool for a few minutes and serve warm to enjoy the creamy custard center.
