Ingredients
- 🦪 Fresh clams – 1 kg
- 🍅 Canned crushed tomatoes – 28 oz
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1/2 tsp
- 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped
- 🍷 Dry white wine – 1/2 cup
- 🧅 Onion - 1/2, chopped
- 🥖 Crusty bread - for serving
Instructions
- 🧅 Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil until softened.
- 🌶️ Add red pepper flakes and crushed tomatoes; simmer for 10 minutes.
- 🍷 Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer.
- 🦪 Add clams, cover, and cook until they open (5-7 minutes). Discard any that don't open.
- 🌿 Garnish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
