Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas – 2 cups soaked overnight
- 🧅 Onion – 2 medium, finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 3 medium, pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups cooked
- 🧂 Chole Masala powder – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
Instructions
- 🥘 Boil soaked chickpeas with a pinch of salt until soft and tender.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden brown, then add ginger-garlic paste.
- 🍅 Stir in tomato puree and chole masala, cooking until oil separates from the base.
- 🍛 Add the boiled chickpeas to the gravy, simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- ✨ Serve the spicy chole over a bed of steamed basmati rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
