Ingredients

  • 🦀 Crab – 1 large, cleaned
  • 🌶️ Chili paste – 2 tablespoons
  • 🍅 Tomato sauce – 4 tablespoons
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2, beaten
  • 🌿 Spring onions – for garnish
  • 🍚 Cornstarch – 1 tbsp (for thickening)

Instructions

  • 🦀 Prepare the crab by cleaning and cutting it into manageable pieces.
  • 🧅 Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add chili paste and tomato sauce; cook for a few minutes.
  • 🥘 Add crab pieces and stir well to coat with the sauce. Add a little water and simmer until the crab is cooked through.
  • 🥚 Stir in beaten eggs to thicken the sauce.
  • 🌿 Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with mantou buns or rice.
