Chicken mandi rice

Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati rice – 3 cups
  • 🍗 Chicken pieces – 1 kg
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🧂 Mandi spice mix – 2 tbsp
  • 🌿 Bay leaves – 2
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1, halved
  • 💧 Cooking oil – 3 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🍗 Marinate chicken with mandi spices and lemon.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions and garlic until golden brown.
  • 🍚 Add rice and chicken, then cover with water.
  • 🥘 Simmer until rice is cooked and chicken is tender.
  • ✨ Garnish with fried onions and serve hot.
