Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef cheeks – 500g
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 2, chopped
- 🌿 Thyme – 2 sprigs
- 🍷 Red wine – 250ml
- 🍲 Beef broth – 500ml
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
- 🫘 Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear beef cheeks in olive oil until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic until softened.
- 🍷 Deglaze pot with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
- 🍲 Add beef cheeks, beef broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 🥘 Simmer covered for 3-4 hours, or until beef is very tender.
- ✨ Serve with mashed potatoes or polenta for a comforting meal.
