Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas (Chana) - 1 cup
- 🌾 All-purpose flour (Maida) - 2 cups
- 🧅 Onion - 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes - 2 medium, pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder) - to taste
- 🌿 Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- 💧 Oil - for frying
Instructions
- 🥘 Soak chickpeas overnight and cook until tender.
- 🔥 Prepare the chana masala by sautéing onions, ginger-garlic paste, and tomatoes with spices.
- 💧 Add cooked chickpeas to the masala and simmer.
- 🌾 Prepare bhatura dough and deep-fry until golden brown and puffy.
- 🌿 Serve hot chana with bhatura, garnished with cilantro.
