Ingredients

  • 🦑 Calamari – 1 lb, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
  • 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste
  • olive oil – for cooking

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 🧄 Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • 🦑 Add calamari rings and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they turn opaque and slightly golden.
  • 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice over the calamari.
  • 🌿 Garnish with fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
