- Sugar

- Coconut flakes (optional)

- Prepare sugar syrup: In a pan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool slightly. 🥣
- Mix cốm with sugar syrup: Gently mix the cốm with the sugar syrup until evenly coated. Be careful not to break the cốm. 🍚
- Add coconut flakes (optional): If using, add coconut flakes to the cốm mixture and mix well. 🥥
- Wrap in banana leaves: Take a portion of the cốm mixture and wrap it tightly in banana leaves. 🍃
