Ingredients
- 🍚 Pre-cooked rice – 2 cups, chilled
- 🫛 Edamame beans – 1/2 cup, shelled
- 🦋 Blue pea flowers – 1 tbsp dried or fresh
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🧅 Green onions – 2 stalks, chopped
- 🍳 Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- 🧂 Sesame oil – 1 tsp
- 🛢️ Cooking oil – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 🦋 Steep blue pea flowers in a small amount of hot water to extract the blue color, then strain.
- 🍳 Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant, then add edamame beans.
- 🍚 Add the chilled rice to the pan and toss well to coat with the oil.
- 🎨 Pour the blue pea water over the rice and stir gently until the grains are evenly colored.
- ✨ Season with soy sauce and sesame oil, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
