Ingredients
- 🥚 Eggs – 3 large
- 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup, softened
- sugar – 1 cup
- flour – 1 1/2 cups
- 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup
- 🍋 Lemon extract – 1 tsp
- baking powder – 2 tsp
- salt – 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- 🌡️ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- 🥣 Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in lemon extract.
- 🍚 In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely. Frost as desired.🍰
