Ingredients

  • 🥔 Potato – boiled and mashed
  • 🫓 Besan (gram flour) – for batter
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – chopped
  • 🍔 Pao (bread rolls)
  • 🫙 Green chutney
  • 🫘 Sweet chutney
  • 🌶️ Dry garlic chutney

Instructions

  • 🥔 Prepare potato mixture with spices, chilies, garlic, and coriander.
  • 🥣 Make a batter using besan, spices and water. Dip potato balls into the batter.
  • 🔥 Deep fry the potato balls (vadas) until golden brown.
  • 🍔 Slit the pao and spread green chutney, sweet chutney and garlic chutney.
  • ✨ Place the vada between the pao and serve hot.
