Ingredients
- 🌾 Flour – 3 cups
- 💧 Water – 1.5 cups warm
- 酵母 Yeast – 2 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
- 🍯 Honey – 1 tbsp (optional)
- 🫒 Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🥣 In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and honey (if using). Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- 🌾 Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- 🫓 Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 💧 Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the dough into a loaf and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 200°F (93°C).
