Ingredients

  • 🥩 Ground lamb or beef – 1/2 lb
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🍅 Diced tomatoes – 1 can
  • 🍚 Cooked rice or couscous – 2 cups
  • 🥒 Cucumber – diced
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, juiced
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped

Instructions

  • 🔥 In a pan, brown the ground meat and drain excess fat.
  • 🧅 Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • 🍅 Stir in diced tomatoes and spices (cumin, paprika, oregano); simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 🍚 Layer cooked rice or couscous in a bowl.
  • 🥘 Top with the meat mixture, cucumber, fresh parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve immediately.
