Ingredients

  • 🍜 Noodles – your choice
  • 🦐 Shrimp (Goong) – peeled and deveined
  • 🍄 Mushrooms – sliced
  • 🍋 Lemongrass – bruised
  • 🌿 Galangal – sliced
  • 🌶️ Chili – sliced (optional)
  • 🍃 Kaffir lime leaves – torn
  • 🥣 Tom Yum Paste – store-bought or homemade
  • 🐟 Fish sauce – to taste
  • 🍈 Lime juice – to taste
  • 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔥 Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • 🍲 In a pot, bring water or broth to a boil. Add lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and Tom Yum paste.
  • 🦐 Add shrimp and mushrooms. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  • 🍜 Stir in cooked noodles, fish sauce, and lime juice. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • 🌿 Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
