Ingredients
- 🍤 Assorted seafood (shrimp, squid)
- 🍆 Assorted vegetables (eggplant, bell peppers)
- 🥣 Tempura batter mix
- 🧊 Ice water
- 🫙 Vegetable oil for frying
- 🍚 Dipping sauce (soy sauce, dashi, mirin)
Instructions
- 🔪 Prepare seafood and vegetables by slicing into bite-sized pieces.
- 🥣 Mix tempura batter with ice water according to package instructions.
- 🔥 Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pot.
- 🍤 Dip each piece of seafood/vegetable in batter and carefully place into hot oil.
- 🍳 Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with dipping sauce.
