Ingredients

  • 🍚 Purple sticky rice – 1 cup
  • 🍠 Taro – 1 cup, diced
  • 🥥 Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
  • sugar – 2 tbsp
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🌿 Pandan leaves – 2-3 (optional)

Instructions

  • 🍚 Soak purple sticky rice for at least 2 hours.
  • 🍠 Steam or boil taro until tender, then mash lightly.
  • 🥣 Combine rice, mashed taro, coconut milk, and sugar in a bowl.
  • ♨️ Steam the mixture until the rice is cooked and the cake is firm.
  • 🔪 Let cool, then cut into slices and serve.
