Ingredients
- 🍚 Purple sticky rice – 1 cup
- 🍠 Taro – 1 cup, diced
- 🥥 Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
- sugar – 2 tbsp
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🌿 Pandan leaves – 2-3 (optional)
Instructions
- 🍚 Soak purple sticky rice for at least 2 hours.
- 🍠 Steam or boil taro until tender, then mash lightly.
- 🥣 Combine rice, mashed taro, coconut milk, and sugar in a bowl.
- ♨️ Steam the mixture until the rice is cooked and the cake is firm.
- 🔪 Let cool, then cut into slices and serve.
