Ingredients
- 🍝 Tagliatelle pasta – 1 pound
- 🥩 Ground meat (beef, pork, or mixture) – 1 pound
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🥕 Carrot – 1 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Celery – 1 stalk, chopped
- 🍅 Canned tomatoes – 28 ounces
- 🍷 Red wine – 1/2 cup
- 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh basil – for garnish
- 🧀 Parmesan cheese – for serving
Instructions
- 🔥 In a large pot, brown the ground meat over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
- 🧅 Add onion, carrot, and celery to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 🧄 Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more. Add red wine and let it reduce slightly.
- 🍅 Add canned tomatoes, milk, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- 🍝 Cook tagliatelle pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with the ragù sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy! ✨
