Ingredients

  • 🍝 Tagliatelle pasta – 1 pound
  • 🥩 Ground meat (beef, pork, or mixture) – 1 pound
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🥕 Carrot – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Celery – 1 stalk, chopped
  • 🍅 Canned tomatoes – 28 ounces
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1/2 cup
  • 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Fresh basil – for garnish
  • 🧀 Parmesan cheese – for serving

Instructions

  • 🔥 In a large pot, brown the ground meat over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  • 🧅 Add onion, carrot, and celery to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 🧄 Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more. Add red wine and let it reduce slightly.
  • 🍅 Add canned tomatoes, milk, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • 🍝 Cook tagliatelle pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with the ragù sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy! ✨
