Ingredients

  • 🥩 Steak – 2 (ribeye or similar)
  • 🫘 Black Peppercorns – coarsely crushed
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🧅 Shallot – 1 finely chopped
  • 🥃 Cognac – 1/4 cup (optional)
  • 🥛 Heavy Cream – 1/2 cup
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥩 Press crushed peppercorns into both sides of the steaks.
  • 🔥 Heat butter in a pan and sear steaks to desired doneness; set aside.
  • 🧅 In the same pan, sauté shallots until softened.
  • 🥃 Deglaze with cognac (optional) then add cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • 🧂 Season sauce with salt, then pour over steaks and serve immediately.✨
