Ingredients
- 🥩 Steak – 2 (ribeye or similar)
- 🫘 Black Peppercorns – coarsely crushed
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🧅 Shallot – 1 finely chopped
- 🥃 Cognac – 1/4 cup (optional)
- 🥛 Heavy Cream – 1/2 cup
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🥩 Press crushed peppercorns into both sides of the steaks.
- 🔥 Heat butter in a pan and sear steaks to desired doneness; set aside.
- 🧅 In the same pan, sauté shallots until softened.
- 🥃 Deglaze with cognac (optional) then add cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- 🧂 Season sauce with salt, then pour over steaks and serve immediately.✨
