Ingredients

  • 🍝 Spaghetti – 1 pound
  • 🥩 Ground beef – 1 pound
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🥕 Carrots – 1 medium, chopped
  • Celery – 1 stalk, chopped
  • 🍅 Canned tomatoes – 28 ounces
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Italian herbs – 1 tbsp
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1/2 cup (optional)
  • 🧀 Parmesan cheese – for serving

Instructions

  • 🔥 Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain excess fat.
  • 🧅 Add onion, carrots, and celery; cook until softened.
  • 🧄 Stir in garlic, Italian herbs, and red wine (if using).
  • 🍅 Add canned tomatoes and simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • 🍝 Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serve bolognese sauce over spaghetti and garnish with parmesan cheese. ✨
