Ingredients
- 🍝 Spaghetti – 1 pound
- 🥩 Ground beef – 1 pound
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 1 medium, chopped
- Celery – 1 stalk, chopped
- 🍅 Canned tomatoes – 28 ounces
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Italian herbs – 1 tbsp
- 🍷 Red wine – 1/2 cup (optional)
- 🧀 Parmesan cheese – for serving
Instructions
- 🔥 Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain excess fat.
- 🧅 Add onion, carrots, and celery; cook until softened.
- 🧄 Stir in garlic, Italian herbs, and red wine (if using).
- 🍅 Add canned tomatoes and simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- 🍝 Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serve bolognese sauce over spaghetti and garnish with parmesan cheese. ✨
