Ingredients

  • 🥩 Beef tenderloin (solomillo) – 2 steaks
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Fresh thyme – 1 sprig
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1/4 cup
  • 🥄 Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥩 Season beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  • 🔥 Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • 🧄 Add garlic and thyme to the pan during the last minute of cooking.
  • 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce slightly.
  • 🍽️ Serve the solomillo with the pan sauce drizzled over the top.
