Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef tenderloin (solomillo) – 2 steaks
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh thyme – 1 sprig
- 🍷 Red wine – 1/4 cup
- 🥄 Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🥩 Season beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- 🔥 Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- 🧄 Add garlic and thyme to the pan during the last minute of cooking.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce slightly.
- 🍽️ Serve the solomillo with the pan sauce drizzled over the top.
