Ingredients

  • 🥩 Thinly sliced meat (pork or veal) – 2 cutlets
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2 beaten
  • 🥖 Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  • 🌾 Flour – 1/2 cup
  • 🍋 Lemon – for serving
  • 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔪 Pound meat to even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  • 🥚 Dredge each cutlet in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • 🔥 Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 🍳 Fry the schnitzel for 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 🍋 Serve immediately with a lemon wedge.
