Ingredients
- 8 large scallops 🐚
- 1/4 cup mentaiko (spicy cod roe) 🍣
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise 🥫
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 🧈
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 🧅
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 🌶️
- Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat 🔥.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper 🧂.
- In a bowl, mix mentaiko, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes 🥄.
- Add butter to the pan and let it melt 🧈.
- Place scallops in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown 🟠.
- Spread the mentaiko mixture on top of the cooked scallops 🍽️.
