Ingredients
- 🍚 Arborio rice – 1.5 cups
- 🧅 Onion – 1 small, chopped
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🍷 White wine – 1/2 cup (optional)
- 🧀 Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup, grated
- 🌿 Broth – 4-5 cups, warm
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onion in butter until translucent.
- 🍚 Add rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
- 🍷 Deglaze with white wine (optional), let it absorb.
- 🌿 Gradually add warm broth, one ladle at a time, stirring continuously until absorbed before adding more.
- 🧀 Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
