Ingredients

  • 🍚 Arborio rice – 1.5 cups
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 small, chopped
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🍷 White wine – 1/2 cup (optional)
  • 🧀 Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup, grated
  • 🌿 Broth – 4-5 cups, warm
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sauté onion in butter until translucent.
  • 🍚 Add rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  • 🍷 Deglaze with white wine (optional), let it absorb.
  • 🌿 Gradually add warm broth, one ladle at a time, stirring continuously until absorbed before adding more.
  • 🧀 Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
