Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice – 2 cups
  • 💧 Water – 4 cups
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🥕 Mixed vegetables – 1 cup (optional)
  • 🌿 Herbs – to garnish

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sauté chopped onions in a pot until translucent.
  • 🍚 Add rice and stir for a minute to lightly toast.
  • 💧 Pour in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  • 🥘 Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  • 🌿 Fluff with a fork and garnish before serving.
