Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef – cubed
- 🥥 Coconut Milk – fresh
- 🌶️ Chili Paste – blend of red chilies
- 🧅 Onions – ground
- 🧄 Garlic – ground
- 🌿 Ginger – ground
- 🍃 Lemongrass – bruised
- 🍋 Kaffir Lime Leaves – sliced
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté ground spices and lemongrass in a large pot until fragrant.
- 🥩 Add beef and kaffir lime leaves, stirring until beef is browned.
- 🥥 Pour in coconut milk and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- 🥘 Reduce heat to low and cook for about 3 hours, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is tender.
- ✨ Stir frequently to prevent sticking, and cook until the rendang is dark brown and rich in flavor. Serve hot with rice.
