Ingredients
- ⚪ Rasmalai balls – 8 pieces, squeezed of excess syrup
- 🥛 Thickened milk (Rabri) – 1 cup, flavored with saffron
- 🍬 Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup for the nest
- 🟢 Pistachios – 1 tbsp, finely slivered
- 🌸 Saffron strands – a pinch for garnish
Instructions
- 🥛 Soak the rasmalai balls in chilled, flavored thickened milk until soft and infused.
- 🔥 Melt sugar in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat until it turns into a golden liquid caramel.
- 🕸️ Use a fork to drizzle the caramel in thin strands over a rolling pin to create a sugar nest.
- 🪹 Gently remove the hardened sugar threads and shape them into a small, delicate nest.
- ✨ Place the rasmalai inside the sugar nest, garnish with nuts and saffron, and serve immediately.
