Ingredients

  • 🫘 Lentils – 1 cup
  • 🍚 Rice – 2 cups
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, chopped
  • 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🍋 Lemon – for serving

Instructions

  • 🍚 Cook rice and lentils separately until soft.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add onions and green chilies, sauté until golden.
  • 🍅 Add tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste, cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • 🥘 Combine cooked rice and lentils with the tomato mixture, mix well.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with a lemon wedge.
