Ingredients
- 🫘 Lentils – 1 cup
- 🍚 Rice – 2 cups
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🍋 Lemon – for serving
Instructions
- 🍚 Cook rice and lentils separately until soft.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add onions and green chilies, sauté until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste, cook until tomatoes are soft.
- 🥘 Combine cooked rice and lentils with the tomato mixture, mix well.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with a lemon wedge.
