Ingredients

  • 🍤 Prawns – 1 lb, cleaned and deveined
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, slit
  • 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌿 Curry leaves – a few sprigs
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • 🥄 Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and green chilies.
  • 🧅 Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • 🍅 Add chopped tomatoes and spices; cook until the tomatoes soften.
  • 🍤 Add prawns and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  • 🍋 Finish with lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
