Ingredients

  • 🐷 Pork cheeks – 1 lb, trimmed
  • 🥕 Carrots – 2 diced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 diced
  • 🌿 Celery – 2 stalks, diced
  • 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
  • 🍲 Broth – 6 cups (chicken or beef)
  • 🌿 Thyme – 1 sprig
  • 🌿 Bay leaf – 1
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear pork cheeks in a pot until browned on all sides.
  • 🧅 Add onions, carrots, and celery; cook until softened.
  • 🧄 Stir in garlic, then deglaze the pot with red wine.
  • 🍲 Add broth, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • 🥘 Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until pork cheeks are tender. Serve hot.
