Ingredients
- 🐷 Pork cheeks – 1 lb, trimmed
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 diced
- 🧅 Onion – 1 diced
- 🌿 Celery – 2 stalks, diced
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
- 🍲 Broth – 6 cups (chicken or beef)
- 🌿 Thyme – 1 sprig
- 🌿 Bay leaf – 1
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork cheeks in a pot until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Add onions, carrots, and celery; cook until softened.
- 🧄 Stir in garlic, then deglaze the pot with red wine.
- 🍲 Add broth, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- 🥘 Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until pork cheeks are tender. Serve hot.
