Ingredients
- 🐟 White Fish – 500g, cleaned and cubed
- 🥥 Coconut Milk – 1 cup for a creamy base
- 🧅 Red Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, diced
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Curry Leaves – 1 sprig for aroma
- 🍋 Tamarind Paste – 1 tbsp for tanginess
- 🌶️ Turmeric & Chili Powder – 1 tsp each
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, curry leaves, and ginger-garlic paste until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices, cooking until they soften and the oil begins to separate.
- 💧 Stir in the tamarind paste and coconut milk, bringing the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- 🐟 Carefully add the fish pieces and cook on medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh coriander and serve warm with steamed rice or crusty bread.
