Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
- 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup
- 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup
- 🥚 Egg yolks – 4
- 🌰 Pistachios – 1 cup, shelled
- ✨ Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- 🍫 Crunch topping – as needed
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks in a separate bowl, then temper with the warm milk mixture.
- 🥣 Return to saucepan and cook until custard thickens.
- 🟢 Stir in pistachio paste and vanilla.
- 🥶 Churn in an ice cream maker, then fold in crushed pistachios and crunch topping. Freeze until solid.
