Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
  • 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • 🥚 Egg yolks – 4
  • 🌰 Pistachios – 1 cup, shelled
  • ✨ Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • 🍫 Crunch topping – as needed

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks in a separate bowl, then temper with the warm milk mixture.
  • 🥣 Return to saucepan and cook until custard thickens.
  • 🟢 Stir in pistachio paste and vanilla.
  • 🥶 Churn in an ice cream maker, then fold in crushed pistachios and crunch topping. Freeze until solid.
