Ingredients

  • 🍝 Pasta – your favorite type
  • 💚 Pistachios – shelled and roasted

  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🌿 Fresh basil – chopped
  • 🥛 Heavy cream – or milk
  • 🍋 Lemon – zest and juice
  • 🫒 Olive oil – extra virgin
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 💧 Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • 🌰 Grind pistachios with garlic, basil, parmesan, and lemon zest until finely ground.
  • 🍋 Add lemon juice, olive oil, and cream to the pistachio mixture to create a smooth sauce.
  • 🍝 Toss the cooked pasta with the pistacchiosa sauce.
